It just means that their plan right now is not to have any new hire classes until after summer 2021. So, yes, as of today those waiting in a pool would have to wait at least another year. Plans change all the time though. It will all be dependent on the environment with COVID-19 and how quickly things can recover.

Unless things start picking up faster, yes. They said they have target cheap aircraft if things pick up even faster than anticipated.

LoFly, Just to clarify, by “February new hire,” do you mean people that were in “New Hire” training already or do you mean people that were hired in February at the last interviews?

Unfortunately, I think they mean the guys who already started. I’m hopeful that I’m wrong.

They are referring to the February class that was already on property and sent home with pay.

I thought I stumbled on a great deal on some round trips, so I signed up for Aug and Sept. They have already canceled Sept. No money back, just vouchers or other flights. If it sounds too good.........

You may want to take that up with the company, not the pilots, gramps. We have no control over canceling flights.
