Good news
Starting a new thread with all the post-covid-peak good news.
For those of you looking in/poolies, latest company email:
- we're offering, on average, about 85% of our regular schedule. Yesterday we actually flew 14 flights MORE than the same day last year.
- expecting zero furloughs, bottom pilots who were sent home from training have been recalled to complete observation flights and IOE.
- management is still evaluating fleet and bases structure, keeping on the table "creative" options. More to come in the next few weeks.
There's probably more to it, I just quickly went through it and thought about sharing here.

“Creative” options with fleet and base structure? Is this the beginning of the end of day trips? From the outside looking in, Allegiant is towards the top of my post-military list for that reason. Curious to see what the future holds.

Thanks a lot for the post. As an unemployed poolie I’m always on the lookout for good news .
I was on the road with my travel trailer for the past couple of months. In the past two weeks I’ve been through 10 states and it’s encouraging to see how busy places have been.

I think most people are expecting them to close a few poorly conceived bases and use covid as the pretext to cover that up. There's no sign they plan to do overnights, the company doesn't have the infrastructure to support a complicated operation like that anyway. I do think there will be more red-eyes, and that's already been baked into the schedule pre-covid.
