The project has been on hold financially speaking, they are just finishing the portion that was pre-paid for.

Why doesnt someone just ask around at the work site and get the real scoop? Shouldnt be too hard to get someone to talk.

June 9 isn't the latest anything.

Also the cranes are still up and people are still working, well past the end of June deadline to stop.

Combined with the fact that JR and his hotel entourage are still here. And we are supposedly “looking for creative solutions”. G4 management is lying once again and using cares act money to continue sunseeker construction. Misappropriation of government funds. Maybe we should get our lobbyist contacts to look into this?

That amount was in the form of Payroll Protection to ensure employees are paid in full through Sept. 30. None of it was designated to continue building a swamp monstrosity. If those funds went there, then it smells like a case of fund abuse.

We need to pick our battles IMO. If no one was let go before Sept 30 and we were all paid within our current contract, trying to get the Government to come after our company for a CARES ACT violation is about the dumbest thing we could do at this point.

You realize this is an "if" scenario? Not confirmed at this point.
