2q earnings and investor call this afternoon.

The media seems to think otherwise. Also from what I've read, I haven't seen anything mentioned about airline money in this new stimulus. Hopefully I'm wrong

Correct, no $$ for airlines included in the Republican proposed HEALS ACT.

House of Reps (Democrats) have the HEROES ACT, which is $2 Trillion more than the HEALS ACT (3 Trillion vs 1 Trillion $$) and proposes $32 Billion for the airlines.

During the first CAREs act this was almost the exact same scenario. Republican bill had only loan money. House bill had Payroll grant money. They made it happen last time. We shall see what happens this time. Without it some of us are definitely on the streets...

“only loan money” from Reps. Gosh, such savages asking poorly managed companies to eventually pay back money borrowed from struggling taxpayers.
Par for the course for Dems, too. They’ll be sending ballots along with the “free money”.

Oh FFS enough with this already. Please enlighten us all about what sort of company can continue to employ 100% of its staff for a year on an 80-90% reduction in revenue.

Airlines were expanding, hiring in record numbers, making record profits, and carrying record numbers of passengers before all this BS came crashing down on them. How EXACTLY were they being mismanaged?

"Poorly managed"? Allegiant was the most profitable US airline last year apples to apples. Google is your friend.

Why does some jack wagon always have to show up on this AVIATION forum and offer their unsolicited political views? Aren't there other forums for that?

I'm sure everyone is going to go change their vote because some internet tough guy with an anonymous screen name convinced them.

I don’t think 55555 was attacking us directly. It appears to be a general statement about poor performing airlines.

If that’s not the case and he intended it for us, well then.... hahaha.

We have the highest market value for a reason.
