Since it’s working for everyone else, I think they’re either bad at math, or have motives beyond preventing furloughs.

A majority of the other ALPA and all of Teamsters pilot groups have accepted shared sacrifice. So we're basically gambling on the company's bluff or an extension of the CARES Act or we are going to be the only airline furloughing. A reduction in pay and still getting benefits is better than no pay at all. Anyone on the furlough list who argues they would rather take one for the team and hold the line is a fool. A reduction in guarantee and voluntary leaves like what United negotiated is all we need. But this union isn't serious about negotiations because they don't care about the junior pilots. That's not where their money comes from. They hide behind unity. The industry is in trouble and this isn't just a threat from management.

Sounds to me like this comes down to the simple fact that you’re looking out for number one..YOU. Get your financial house in order and suck it up buttercup. Welcome to the industry.
I find it amusing that in one post you bash the IBT and the next post you state that “ALL” other IBT airlines have accepted “shared sacrifice. So who do you really want to blame?
Your posts are clearly all about you, masked under the guise of shared sacrifice.

This isn’t just going to effect the juinor pilots. If we don’t get some agreement the ball is in the companeys handa and they can do what they want. You will all feel it when they are downgrading from IWA and SFB. Meanwhile other airlines will be stealing our market share bucause we don’t have the people to maintain a schedule when leisure comes back. Both the uniun and the company are going to have a black eye over this.
Come on Tracy. Keep your story straight. Are we displacing out of smaller bases or downgrading and displacing our of big bases? It’s really hard to keep your story straight when you are trying to sow fear and discord in all sections of the seniority list. This union busting playbook is getting so pathetic.

Meanwhile we have the scheduling chairman saying jouinor pilots should thank the senior pilots for getting them on property and should just take our foughlough for the team. Why are we about to be the only hairline that foughloughs? Because of selfish attitudes like this.
Maybe when the displacement comes out senior pilots will care more.

Taking one for the team as you put it.
Also, we still haven’t furloughed. The government might reach a deal. The union and company might reach a deal, and when something does happen, you’re still gonna be the one who wanted to give up the farm because a little union busting pressure got to you.
