Actually yes I’m unity. Or should we act like the company who says they care about our pilots only to ask for a 60% paycut to the bottom 1/3rd. Look pick up open time if you want to, and talk out of you A S S about the Union if you want to. It’s your right but if you’re looking for sympathy because you picked up knowing our pilots are hitting the streets in the unemployment line looking for ways to feed their family you out of luck.

I’m assuming a “list” was created for guys picking up Open Time while you have pilots furloughed? Was just curious why this thread was started.

What do you call those that help the company with excess trips while others are furloughed? Demons? Snakes? Scum of the industry?

why not line your pockets with extra flying while your friends and coworkers are being let go. It’s your contractual right...

pretty amazing that some don’t get it.

What don’t you get about staffing required per block hours?

How does having flights go unstaffed and cancelled, harming the company you work for help out you or make it more likely to have your peers called back? Do you want so many flights to cancel that your employer goes out of business? You want to kick them while they're down? You know they pay your mortgage, right? You guys are a bunch of communists.

you do understand that if flights start to cancel they can recall people into the position they are furloughed from correct? Like if it’s only been a month they probably don’t need anything but to be recalled, and if it’s been less than a year they probably just need recurrent or maybe 1 extra day on top of recurrent.

AWAC is recalling 27 pilots in November they will not require any additional training whatsoever to return to the line. The same would be true for you guys. Plus since you are not done furloughing it would halt furloughs and help your fellow pilots who have not gotten the axe just yet

but keep calling people communists for not wanting fellow pilots on the street

Not our problem they are furloughing precisely when they are having a staffing problem. What do you want us to do about it?

Um, stand together with your brethren and not pick up any open time. So the company starts to recall your furloughed brothers. Do you get that concept? Or some of you just don’t give a fuk about anyone but yourselves.
