Also, any public talk of illegal job actions should be halted immediately. In 2017, the Spirit pilots got an injunction because of a poorly organized open time campaign on this very site. It's everyone's personal decision whether to pick up time or not, and nobody should be called out or shamed for doing it. Especially, people should stop talking about it. The last thing we need right now is our EXCO getting handcuffed by an activist, management friendly Federal judge.

There was more to it than just the APC threads but it did contribute to our injunction. There were also threatening phone calls and voicemails left for certain pilots who were known to be picking up open time during negotiations. But really good advice... don’t talk about anything like that on a public forum.

Some of our pilots came up with a "scab list" of those tho picked up trips in Schedule Adjustment Period last month. Many of these were only swapping things, some were totally in error, and a handful actually loaded up their schedules. This list was foolishly passed around, and apparently got back to management. Needless to say, they are blaming the union for it. The only thing the OP is correct about, is that stuff like this is amateur at best. Chess, not checkers, people.

There is a reason multiple airlines all use them.... they're effective at breaking unity among unions.

If I ran a large union with lots of money I'd consider spending a few dollars to retain another union busting law firm to teach my negotiators how do deal with the dirty tricks that get played and fight back with an effective response.

You call them a future scab in training. Same mentality.

Good luck to everyone at G4. Except those scumballs that pick up open time while pilots are on furlough.
