Word on street is he was fired. Blamed by MG for all the $#!+ that went down with TT, furloughs, etc. Perhaps the underlings have all been dishonest with MG over the years and it has finally caught up with them.

Will this improve things? Maybe. Maybe not. Time will tell. But its not a bad move.

Possibly a bit of

1. Someone’s gotta take the fall for the stock price being down 50% while competing airlines are in the green

2. Merger incoming

You don’t promote someone to President just to fire them 3 months later. Unless there was friction between the two Presidents. It’s completely amateur hour here and I suspect the business only has a year left before it fails completely.

For those on the outside looking in now is not the time to come here.

Pray that a merger is possible. We have entered a death spiral that will require a miracle.

It’s possible but the business is much to profitable to completely fail even with incompetent management… all that is required is a new pilot contract and this place starts to takeoff… IMO. A contract is coming… how painful it gets beforehand is up to management

Allegiant needs a contract to actually attract pilots. What is being offered and sent in the constant propaganda /rotten carrot on a sticks/ emails are garbage. The company won’t attract anyone or keep anyone around with it.

Senior leadership and line check airman that have been with the company a long time are on the move. Somethings going down that only higher ups know about.

And they are becoming chief pilots.. some that have been abused to long have had enough..makes sense.

A “death spiral”? Why even post here? Shouldn’t you be posting on legacy forums asking what the interview schedule is like?

Or you might be a little melodramatic…

I no longer believe it either….I did for a while but after hearing about pending CJO’s and mass-exodus for over a year I’m calling bs. I think maybe attrition upticks a little but they’ll manage to hire enough to keep up, or close.
