Spirit gave out raises before their contract (much superior to ours already) was even amendable.

Alaska and ALPA are in talks about amending their “snap” because they are so far behind the legacies now.

If allegiant can still out hire attrition then don’t you think any of those mentioned above airlines could as well? Maybe they have a desire to not be the lowest tier airline.

Spirit did it to specifically address attrition. Alaska, if they do it, will be addressing attrition as well (this public info, and is widely known at Alaska - just talk to one who flies there).

If Kirby and UAL were SOOOOO generous, then why the Tumi TA? why didn't Kirby propose the current offer 18 months ago instead of the Tumi TA? Because he believed he could get away with the Tumi TA and maximize shareholder value which is his fiduciary obligation.

Like I've said before, allegiant would pay us the retention bonus today if the union would allow it.

I'm just trying to emphasize that no CEO overpays labor just because that is the "moral or ethical" thing to do which is what KC135 said other airlines do and something allegiant should do. That is a farce.

Nobody ever said anything about overpaying, we're only talking about just not underpaying and paying a fair industry average. Like I said before, the ethical factor is only one piece of the puzzle, don't over simplify it.
