Civilian HAA pilot to Allegiant
Hello
I am looking for some advice/options on transistioning civilian, rotor to fixed wing for a FO posistion at Allegiant. I am current commerical/instrument RH with 2300 hours total helicopter and 6 hours airplane. What is the possiblilty of being based at TYS from the begginning if this base is still even a domicile? Will they take a rotor guy that meets right at the multi and ATP minumims ? Thank You |
We have hired Rotor guys and gals, not sure how close to Min but you would have to meet at least ATP min and posted hiring min to apply. TYS is a base, but it is currently small. I think the more junior pilots have waited at least six months to get in. That will vary and is very dependent on base attrition and or any growth. I believe some of the issues at TYS are gate space for us.
