How senior is BLI?

pipercub 11-12-2008 02:01 PM

Two First officers in OCT new hire classes just got BLI out of class. However right now all First Officers live in BLI, but with possible upgrades and possible additional AC you never know. BLI is currently the junior base for First Officers on the West coast.

Most if not all Jan Class will go to Florida

What are the quals/times of the recent newhires?? Does it take an internal rec?

Thanks

The quals/times have varied greatly from just over Min. to 10K+. All that have been interviewed in the last groups had internal Rec. A couple months ago we had almost 200 resumes just from internal Rec. Do not know where they are in that pile. They had 5000+ other Resumes, so the more quals/time you have the better chance you have. It helps if you live in a city we have a base.

I interviewed earlier this month. ~5,000tt with no internal rec. I do live in florida where they are expanding.

The other 3 guys that interviewed with me didn't have LOR's but were all (as am i) furloughed/laid off with >10,000tt
