Got the strangest email from Allegiant yesterday.

"This message is a confirmation that Allegiant Air has received your
expression of interest! Your resume, along with others, will be given due
consideration. Should there be further interest in your application, you
will be contacted by an Allegiant Air representative.

Thank you for your interest in Allegiant Air! "

Now I put in my resume almost three years ago (March 2006). I also got this today from UPS.

"The "First Officer" job you have inquired about has been filled. You may go to http://www.upsjobs.com and check for other opportunities with ups."

I put in that resume in April 2007 when that window opened. Remember, the one that was looking for Intl overwater experience?

Either something went wacky with both their HR systems or I have the slowest internet connection on record. Or maybe one or both is looking to hire folks soon. Anyone else get these msgs?

I was talking to a guy yesterday who was just hired at Allegiant 4 months ago. I was surprised because I hadn't heard or read of them doing any hiring. My $.02

Last time I sent Allegiant something was about 2 months ago and I got that email too. Got another email saying they were having server issues or something and it was sent out en masse in error.

I got the first e-mail also, applied there four years ago. Then yesterday the second one that said their server seems to be messed up.

I sent one the other night and got that exact email about 15 mins later. I had sent one a few months ago as well ,but it seemed to come from a different address and wasn't worded quite the same. Maybe a new system?

So has anybody heard of the hiring status at allegiant? they still interviewing?? hiring? what are their plans?? I put my stuff in about 4 months ago, still nothing....

There's a glitch with Allegiant's human resources email. My buddy that's been there for already 3 years got the same email two days ago. I wouldn't put much stock into the emails.
