All that and you get $59/hr to fly a MD80 with a 3% 401k? I would not be bragging my friend. Somebody is making money there, just not you.

That was good....

The company is making money. That is good news when almost every airline, including SWA is losing cash. They actually are hiring, which is better than almost every other airline out there.

Let them enjoy their run. In a few years when they have to replace the Mad Dogs they will see how expensive it is to run a low fare airline.

Funny.... I made more than that as a CRJ-200 captain at one of the more ghetto regionals around.

<----- I think their mgmt has taken a line from Butters and made them their "bottom b**ch" :)

Have to replace them? Is that a mandate from Obama or something? Who says they have to replace them? Are they all at 96,000 cycles? Do you know how many cycles they have currently and how many cycles they put on per year? Do you know what year the planes were built? Do any cargo operators fly the 727 around? Does Delta/NWA have the DC9?

Where in the original post did Pipecub brag? I missed it?

Hey 80kts! You're one of my best customers! You like getting kisses in the weidest places, at a hotel.

um, but that is their FO pay. You did not make that much as an FO at any ghetto regional and you did not make what their CA make as a CA at any ghetto regional.

Keep in mind, this company was making money (read PROFIT) when gas was almost $5 per gallon.

Then they easily should be able to pay their pilots industry average.... right?
