To the poster above complaining about ALPA, it was most likely a MESA problem, not an ALPA one.
Just a guess.

If the "we" you are referring to is Allegiant, you won't have the PPO option next year.

I figured it would go away sometime, but I will keep it as long as I can.

What were we talking about?

Thanks a lot, Eagle. Now I have to clean off the coffee I just spit all over my computer.

Any Allegiant folks around? Whats the good word? Any clue on future hiring? I have a lot of good ideas for my next essay on how amazing I am, and would love to share it with the fine people at HR. Seriously though, its been quiet, whats going on with you guys??

Have some hope there bub! I think we will be hiring again soon. We are short staffed right now and have had some people leave for southwest. (I've heard about 10 left). With the 757's coming online this past week and some MD-80 growth it's inevitable. Keep practicing explaining how awesome you are and I'm sure you'll be just fine!

What do you think the chances are of an RJ FO getting a job there this time around? I applied last year with about 4K rj sic, had to write the essay, and then got a "no thanks" email. Is it even worth it to try again or do you really need some tpic? I would love to work there and be home every night.

Typically they don't...... But....based on the current climate NO ONE knows what is going on there. (including managment)....

The Union one day is saying forget it, the company is screwed..to a week later saying the tides may be turning... Is flying increasing (yes) but how are sales. Nobody knows, and I have a suspicion the Union is gaining info from a past departed department head who may or may not have a distorted view of his former employer...

Most all we hear is how the company is not playing nice with training issues and SMS initiatives..None of which I personally care about at the moment. But it is what it is.

Union is worried about furloughs (have been chasing that rabit for over a year), but in reality I haven't heard one iota from the company concerning furloughs. When the Union asks the company, they of course, say they are evaluating.... Gee, what else does anyone expect them to say... Company has planted just enough of a seed to get everyone all hot and bothered. Thus we have Net680jet determing whether he should go to Allegiant from Netjets. Which in no way is a knock against Allegiant (I've tried several times) but in reality it would never ever happen if it wasn't for all the FEAR being tossed around.....

There i feel alittle better:D

Leave Netjets for ALGT? Please tell me he's joking...

Stop the political references. You can discuss health care, but make it about Allegiant health care. That isn't a politcal subject.
