Allegiant Air

Interesting that airline management pockets its share of the profits on the back of its employees, though I'm not surprised. What really interesting is how one is so willing to put up with it. Management will always have a carrot dangling for some sucker to try and reach for it.

Tiny Allegiant Air thrives on low costs, high fees

That's going to change, along with a lot of other things around here. Just give it time my friend, stuff doesn't happen overnight!

Been with the company just over 2 years, going to make around 80k this year, live 20 minutes from the airport, work am shift ( show 0600 usually done around 1400), in my bed every night, just voted in a union, and flying newer airbus right now. That is how I am willing to put up with it. Things will get even better once we hash things out with the company on soft pay, 401k, and other things.... . Enjoy your EWR commute.

Being home every night is worth it's weight in gold. I love flying but being gone from family sucks! I wish allegiant had a base where I live. My friends that work there seem happy.

Don't be a d@mn fool. Compare at 10, 20, 30 years -- or we're you looking for a five year career?
