Default PSP Recall?

Is Allegiant recalling all of their pilots with the PSP?

If/when PSP passes, they should. They have an MOU that stipulates as such.

But as mentioned, nothing has happened yet, either from the company or the government.

Do you work here? Do you realize that they use pages of our contract as toilet paper over at the HQ? Anyone who has been here for a while knows to have low expectations for this company doing the right thing. After all, they went from $200 million in cash reserves to $875 million in cash reserves during 2020 and still laid pilots off, closed a senior base, and displaced people. Anyone who comes here in the future should take a psych test.

IF Trump signs it and;

IF Allegiant takes the money...

My read of the bill is that they would have to recall.

They can blow off labor contracts left and right, but they can't make a deal with the devil (aka Fed) and then not uphold their end.

Maybe and maybe not. Remember that they routinely ignore orders from an arbitrator.

Unlike an arbitrator, the fed can make them give the money back.

I used to. Until 9/30/2020.....

And I know full well their transgressions. I値l believe the recall when I get the notice and I知 back in uniform.

I知 just saying that *if* Trump signs the bill, there痴 an MOU that states they値l accept the money.

No matter what happens, it値l be interesting to see how this goes down.

If they honor their word, how do they handle it, displacements, training needs, schedules, etc.

If they don稚 honor their word, the grievance, the facepalm of the judge, etc.

Either way, grab the popcorn.

So last quarterly investor briefing Allegiant said they are now breaking even, dare I say, maybe even making a small profit. Now ALL their labor costs are covered for four months by our tax dollars. They even can score some of that US Treasury crack back by offering half guarantee to a pilot for the month off while they keep the other half. Can you say cha-ching??!!
