Yeah, all those yeas of stagnation and multiple BK's and mergers were so wonderful.... Biggly hugely wonderful...

For those complaining about ACD vs. MCD...

First...What other decent airline has MCD?
Second... ACD was an improvement.
Third... It is possible to have too much of a good thing

6:00 MCD would be great for some, no advantage over ACD for the vast middle, and hurt as many as it helped on the other end.

Unintended comsequences brought on by myopia and sloganeering is an actual thing. So is *****ing for the sake of *****ing.

New guys... This is a great gig. Having a half-full glass makes it even greater.

March 2017 (updated May 2017) contract comparison shows DL and UA have ACD. UA’s is only 5:00.

I don't think that's correct. They get a 6 hour min calendar day which is useful because they'll get long layovers (3-4 days sometimes) at outstations.

Disregard. Just asked my buddy. You are correct sir. That is still a 6 hour min day though (not ACD).

True but for us that trip would pay 10:30
where as for them it pays 6.

Our networks are so different it’s really hard to compare. They do so much less block than we do that a true min day is huge.

I’m LAX 320. Yes there are some bad trips (slash trips), but I’ve been able to avoid them so far. For me (commute/trip wise) it’s great there.

When you’re based on the west coast you’re always gonna have trips that start with redeyes. Just a geographic thing.
