When I left NY about six months ago, almost all the EWR flying was 737, but that has switched back and forth before.

I see lots of EWR trips in open time for 737. I looked at the bidpack for 320 LGA and I dont see more than a couple of EWR trips.

I'm a new hire and I've been on short call in NYC all month. I'm also a commuter. When I come in to town my intent is to fly. I've had pretty good luck picking up 3-day EWR trips, and I've flown with captains who also specialize in EWR trips. So, if EWR is your thing then I think you'd do OK to bid the 73.

Looks like the PHL 190 hiring is dwindling- when is the official retirement for the 190? I heard it was pushed back yet again... any further speculation on its replacement? Absorbtion into the A319/320 or the A220 or the E2? I know this has been discussed ad nauseam, but anything?...Bueller?...Bueller?
Official word is 6 leave in 1Q 2020, Remaining 14 remain until 4Q.
Rumor mill over replacement has dried up lately.
The sim is going to get the stall software upgrade in March which will mean one sim session per day is lost for several weeks. That will drive some slowdown in training over the winter, since a lot of available time will be needed for recurrent. Other than that training right now is at the same pace it has been and a lot of people who have been withheld are leaving for other equipment. I've had quite a few folks in recurrent lately who will be gone from the fleet within a few months.
