Yes, they’ll get an email usually a week prior to their class date.

The last few classes have been pretty big...40-45 people per class. I'm surprised. Looks like two classes in October. I'm surprised at the hiring, in the earnings call today they said they are going to reduce capacity growth.

Classes every 2 weeks. Yes, two months (May and Oct this year) have 3 classes, the others 2.

The math: 52 weeks a year. At every 2 weeks, that is 26 classes. 10 months at 2, 2 months at 3 = 26. Then, Christmas holidays no class, so only 25 classes.

End goal is DFW, which fleet has a bigger presence the 737 or 320? which fleet has better trips and QOL in DFW?

thanks

Roughly the same on all questions, though 73 is a touch more junior at the moment.

But it really doesn't matter which you get at the new hire draft. You have a six month seat lock as a new hire, and it is at least a year to crack into DFW... plenty of time to find out which fleet suits your preferred trip mix / QOL desires.

It’s funny when people say it doesn’t matter what you get. I’m not sure what the actual spread is, but ~6 months of commuting vs. being in base is a pretty big deal for QOL. Your choice should be based on your personal priorities. Both are great airframes. If waiting ~6 months for your flight deck tray table is important, choose the AB. If you want less commuting 73 is probably a better play. I think schedules and trips are very similar as both are very large fleets and bases in DFW. Training programs for both are excellent. Obviously that is the way it is today, so if you have a class soon, that should be good info. Good luck with your decision.
