There's a good potential I will be on property 1.5 years before flying the A320.
Is the company able to withhold training on every bid for up to a year or is that just something special on your first year?

Yeah! We're way better than those lowly prop pilots and need to make sure we differentiate ourselves!

They can withhold you when they need to. You get pay protected when the withhold starts, so guys moving up to a higher group aircraft/jet/platform or to another seat at least get their money. If you're hoping to move within the same pay group, it's little consolation.

Nah, we call Turbo props "jet" as well, just a word and a habit, definitely not an ego thing. Like some people say "soda" vs "coke" vs "pop"

No, I just don't nerd out about what people call aircraft. Did you get stuffed in lockers a lot as a kid?

BTW, American only flies jets.

Lots of ex-mil at US and I never heard a guy call it that either. Weirdos.

On a side note are we really supposed to put all ramps on #2, even in Philly and Charlotte? That seems so...tedious, and as if I couldn't figure out the Airbus radios to begin with now they want me to continuously switch back and forth?!? F....
