I see. Please post whenever you get a welcome packet or some sort. I think I'm slated for 19 Nov. Would be nice to know when to expect a packet.

I got the welcome email approximately 40 days prior to my class. The only thing it asks you to do is send a picture or PDF of your certificates and passport to recruitment. Sometime within a month prior to class you will get another 3 emails or so, one to fill out a separate for a background check and another two about drug test/fingerprints.

Maybe a 190 pilot could confirm if in fact the 3 which were scheduled to go away by now(Sept) actually left.

The 190 Sim is down most of October for an upgrade so non new hires scheduled all month and very few in Nov I think. Word is however that the original plan of no new hires after April 2020 has been extended. They are hiring another sim instructor and 3 CKA so read into that what you will.

There is nobody with the initials JW that flowed last week. He's referring to a different guy.

I don't see anyone else who was in his mid 60's. I don't know when JW went over but I know he is a few years from retirement so thought it might have been him.

There was a gentleman in my new hire class (Oct ‘16) that was 64. Wonderful person, he said he wanted to retire as a Legacy pilot. So he did.
