Base availability/line holder status - 1yr/2y
BOS - 1 yr - reserve 2 yr - reserve
CLT - 1 yr - reserve 2 yr - reserve
UDC(320 DCA) - 1 yr - line holder
DCA (737) - 1 yr - reserve 2 yr - line holder
DFW - 1 yr - unavailable. 2 yr - reserve
LGA - 1 yr - line holder
LAX - 1 yr line holder
MIA - 1 yr - line holder.
ORD - 1 yr - unavaialbe(misses by approx 100 numbers) 2 yr - reserve (misses line holder by approx 100 numbers)
PHL - 1 yr - line holder
PHX - 2 yr - unavailable
Snapshot of June. Line holder might be *the* junior line holder. Zero guarantee of being a line holder if guys ahead, who bid reserve, decide to bid a line instead of rsv.
LAX and LGA 320 have the most line holders at at the one year mark.
Planned retirements in the last two years was 697(+/-)(2014 projection). Next two years is 1075 (2014 data). So advancement might come quicker(375 numbers = just under 12 months?) depending upon how guys on property shift to different bid statuses/bases.

Delta started a big hiring surge three + years prior to American. And I think their contract pays premium differently than American's. So it's difficult to make a direct comparison. There may be Delta pilots giving up CA slots to bid FO lines that pay more with less work. Maybe in 4 years with over 2000 retirements and a new contract the landscape at AA will look different. Or, the union and work force will vote for 10 more years of the same.

DL hired a handful in 2010. Airways started hiring in 11. AA started fall 13 and DL started hiring agin in late 13/early 14. So they actually started hiring after AA.
