Default Vacation/Carey email

It was great to see the email from Carey. I know I'm critical of this place but this was impressive to see. An additional 50,000 days and 7,000 weeks of vacation taken this year compared to last.
Keep up the unity and I guarantee we'll see better things.
Nice job all!

Agreed. I think sometime this summer we will see the min day issue fixed and it will mirror the average calendar day pay that UA/DL have. I bet it will be implemented later in the year.

Man-

I hope you are right! That would fix a LOT of issues (or at least we would be paid better to put up with such issues.)

I would make 15 more hours this month with min calendar day.

Suppport APA negotiations by encouraging AA pilots not to give back or defer their vacation.

Has your head exploded yet? The no float campaign is actually working. Everyone needs to support APA on this.

I think everyone does. Everyone-except those who are within 3 years of retirement.

Most of those guys give not one millionth of a **** about anyone but themselves. I know they have had rough careers, but they will totally throw everyone else under the bus.

Why would anyone defer their vacations? You won't get paid out for it so take your vacation how it is and let the premium flow.

You weren't going to be able to drop or trade trips anyways. Drop/trade was a problem well before the no float campaign.
