Interview PST and paperwork
Interview scheduled. It is my understanding you cant prepare for the Pilot Skills Test...true?
Also, the email I received says "please bing the original of the following items" and then lists the typical stuff like FCC license, medical, passport, etc. Should I be making copies of these items to hand in or just have the originals ready? Seems like a dumb question until they ask for my paperwork and I dont have anything other than my actual passort or my actual license.
Any insight as to why OTS pilots fail the AA interview so I can avoid the same mistake?
Thanks

Bring what they tell you to bring and don’t bind anything or try to make it extra special any in other way. They will take it all and make copies and get you the originals back within hours. There are no tricks here. You really can’t prep much for the testing and the word of mouth is that no one fails due to the testing. Be personable and smile when you can in the Interview. I know it is stressful, but it is not a gotcha kind of Interview. Try to enjoy it as much as you can and good luck. You are not invited unless AA wants you already.

If they were wanting copies they would have let you know but couldn't you have made copies of each in the time it took you to type the post and have them with you just in cased they asked for a copy?

Make copies and have them available. It's like having an alternate just in case the weather goes bad.
Your UA buddy said to avoid AA because has no Scope protection? AA only allows 1.25% of hub to hub flying to be regional while UA allows 5%. In the meantime what does he recommend instead of AA? Staying at a regional, or whatever your current job is,
and hoping someone else gives you a job?
