Not one single 320 captain award?
Gracias. And guess I may have typed tired. 777 LGA most junior on this bid for FO group 4. However DFW dropped lower on 777 FO and 767 FO then many implied before. Again unsure what is up with 320 back fill but regardless fairly good movement on this bid. Yes not airbus but that 737 movement was just insane which makes sense I guess for 737 max deliveries?

I don’t know why CLT doesn’t have at least a small 737 base by now. 5 years ago Airways had a base for it and you wouldn’t see anywhere near as many 737’s as you see now. Taxiing past B concourse the other week, every gate had a plane, every plane was a 737. Sure would help the stagnation a little bit.

Same thing with ORD and the Airbus. You see a ton of 320's up there but they are all fly-throughs.

Flight attendants can’t mix metal yet.

As Al said, they’re not going to do it until after FOI. After that, I predict 737 bases in CLT, PHL and PHX

Probably the lack of movement on the AB in CLT means they will either open a 737 base there or route a lot of 737 flying through.

Is there a set date for FOI or just something on the list of things to eventually get done through the whole merger process?

I wonder if the flight attendant integration is holding up 737 living in former airways bases? There was a rumor some time ago that PHX was going to get 737. A lot of them go through there and I believe a lot of them get mx in PHX as well.

Yes. It's FOI (or Flight Attendant integration). The FAs cannot mix metal right now. LUS FAs can only fly LUS airplanes and vice-versa. Having a 737 base in PHX or CLT is pointless, since only LAA FAs can staff the airplane.

I think Oct or Nov 2018 with the first vacancy bid for Jan 2019. I wouldn’t expect any major changes for maybe a year after that.
