Why would that make a difference as far as having a pilot base?

Anytime metal moves from one domicile to another it creates churn. Everyone makes decisions for different reasons ex someone may value staying one one plan over commuting especially if they’re already commuting.

The number of metal domiciled at a base can change as well with FOI

It’s endless

Because all 737’s are LAA, and only LAA FA’s can work those flights until FOI. Put them in an LUS base and they’d have to deadhed FA’s in from LAA bases to staff them. Or schedule sequences through the base.

The Airbus...on the other hand was at both airlines, the pilots fly either one, and with mixed crews. The FA’s do not. When we fly an LAA Airbus, it’s staffed by LAA FA’s, LUS is staffed by LUS FA’s.

Is there a date/time frame in which all pilots and FA’s can crew any aircraft?

Pilots already can (Oct 2016). FA’s supposed to be Nov 2018, but who knows (look at UAL, the FA’s still aren’t combined). Really doesn’t effect you, as a pilot.

Funny thing is, most people predicted the opposite. That it’d take years to combine the pilots, and the FA’s would be combined first. The FA’s even got their SLI done very quickly.

About 14,300. Feb 2017 hire. Looks like either really early starts/mid day finish or late start /late finish for junior line holders. Trips out of LAX, ONT, and SNA. SAN trips also but go senior. Trips are a little over 5 hours a day. Looks like 3 day trips are most junior.

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to post an updated base and equipment seniority list? I am trying to get an idea what the wait time for ORD would be. Thank you for the help.

Default End of 2017 base/equipment seniority

ORD/737/FO is just senior to 13,900. Don’t know what month/year that was...

Lowest system seniority number is now 14,713 so figure about 12-18 months for ORD.
