It was a job fair put on for vets today. A full house of pilots came from all over the country and when we get there they say they aren't taking resumes and attendence isn't tracked and won't help you at all.

Bus to the airport was a bunch of ****ed off guys. Some brought thier wives. Everyone was out at least a few hundred $$.

That sucks. Happy Vet's Day. :rolleyes:

Maybe they did you a favor, gave you a peek behind the AA curtain.

What an insult to military members/vets.

The feedback I've gotten from my squadron bros has been positive.

Many app questions were answered.

Face time with Tatum, Taylor, Seymour.... face to face with the hiring folks is never a bad thing.... Just don't drop an f bomb.

Sorry your expectations were not met.

Reality is, unless they are taking your resume or associating your name with your face, tracking your attendance, and/or scoring your app, this is a colossal waste of time for those attending. Simple app questions can be asked/answered on AA.pilotcredentials. This "not your mamas job fair" was supposed to be different.

Wait and see. Gun shy about legal stuff. They know who attended.

If you signed up, they know who you are. If you signed in, they definitely know who you are.
