Your age is important because you have a long time left here. Our motivations should be fixing the language here and strengthening the union, not selling out for a few dollars (ACD/rigs) in the short term.

I just read the MIA base blast from ES. This agreement isn’t without its issues I’ll give him that. But, he’s making a mountain out of a molehill here.
He loses all credibility when he tries to insinuate that ACD will be bad for a lot of guys bc the trips will be longer and less commutable. While there will be some 5 days AW has already proven both of those will not be a major issue. How many 11 hr 3 days does MIA have? Lots.
He doesn’t even mention LOS. I’d be highly upset if i was a furloughee. This guy is way out in left field.

Just wondering, could you or some others who want a yes vote present more specific arguments for why you think the no voters are wrong? I admit I'm an outsider looking in (will flow to AA soon) but this will affect me eventually. The post with the MIA email includes what look to me like some great reasons to oppose this. It would be helpful to hear actual, specific counterpoints.
Yea. ACD and LOS are huge. They are so much bigger than what we’re “giving up” but people are minimizing how important they are. And it’s a better starting place when we get to section 6.
If you want a good recap spend 45 mins on LOSNOW.org listening to AWs podcast. It’s time we’ll spent.
Look I’m not saying we shouldn’t try to not give anything up. If we can get everything we want then awesome. But if this comes down to a take it or leave it then we should take it.

The company desperately wants electronic notification and the bigger RO window now.
