Default Group III/Group IV pay on reserve

I’ve been looking, up so far have been unsuccessful. How are reserves paid when they fly Group III and Group IV aircraft (757,767)? Is it split 50/50? Or something else? Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as a Group3+ Group 4 pilot at AA. The 757/767 are both Gr3. The 320/321 group 2. Group 4 would be 330/777/787.

Thanks...knew I was missing something...(group 4 shows 767-400....didn’t read into deep enough..saw 767 and my small brain stopped reading)

There is a movement to try and categorize the A321 as Group 3 in our next contract. I have no idea how they would work that out with reserve guarantee for A320/321 pilots. Maybe just pay you the extra for the legs you actually fly the larger aircraft.

United uses a "blended" rate for reserve guarantee, etc, then an override when you fly the higher rate.

At Delta you get the higher 321 rate for reserve guarantee unless you fly a 320 trip then you get paid those hours at the lower 320 rate.

This is not a boast but just to let Laker know that this issue has been addressed by ALPA in the contracts since the 321 is supposedly a 757 replacement.

apc airline profile shows the DL 321/737-9 paying $2 more than the other 320/737-8 and $10 less than the 757.
