Brightline bag vs others

I'm in the market for a new bag for my iPad, headset, flashlight, QRH, etc. Can anyone who uses a Brightline tell me what size they use and if they like it? I don't really want a backpack (personal preference, not judging), but if anyone else had any other recommendations I'd appreciate it.

I use a luggageworks stealth flight cube in the summer and stealth EFB in the winter. The EFB is bigger, and I carry more in the winter. It’s a great bag and the price is right at $79 & $89. Both have good spots for the iPad and QRH, if I bought just one, definately the EFB since it’s bigger. The EFB has a compartment for a small coffee thermos too.

I actually was wanting a Brightline, but decided it was to “pilot tactical” looking for me. I like a more subtle look.

I have the LW Stealth flight tote and love it. On a simple overnight, I can just take it and leave roller at home. Plenty of room for extra crap to be put it it which I use more than I thought I would.

I've never used the Brightline bag but this is another option that has a lot of room.

I bought the B7-Echo but I only use part of it so the B-4-Echo would be all you need. It easily holds my laptop, iPad, QRH, Bose A-20 headset, chargers, snacks, and everything else I need.

I'm not overly impressed with my Briteline ... Zippers always coming open when they rub against something. A real pain when you are 'selected' in Germany and they insist every zipper be opened.

On the positive side ... When commuting on any of the dinky jets you can split the thing in half. I have never had a problem stowing it on those.

If you're looking at Brightline, take a moment and look at Contrail Bags. He's one of our pilots and I can't speak highly enough about them. They're very well-made bags, not too pricy and he gives AA pilots a discount. I have the FL390 bag and I absolutely love it. Works great in the 737! Holds my laptop, iPad, DC Pro-X headset, giant QRH and more.

I’ve absolutely love my smaller Aerocoast. Holds all personal items plus 2 iPads, laptop, bose, qrh, and room for more. Can be backpack guy, or slip over the posts. Has a coupling for J hook too which I use. Provides perfect counter balance for the long bag drag w min effort. APA gave us a contrail bag at the NH dinner and I’d be happy to give it to someone if they really need or want one. It’s a great bag, and very practical. I just have my happy setup... and don’t go changin.
