When I bought my Craftsman tools, they said they had a lifetime guarantee. I thought it was my lifetime. Turns out it was the lifetime of Sears/Kmart.

Didn’t Craftsman get bought by Stanley Black & Decker over a year ago? Will they no longer honor the lifetime warranty from being a Sears brand to now a Black & Decker brand?

They also sell Craftsman at Lowe's now. Dunno about the warranty though

From my understanding there is no more in store swapping out of broken tools. There was a huge issue of bottom feeders buying up used rusty tools and swapping them for new in store at Sears.

Craftsman used to mean USA, now that it's all imported I don't really see any reason to purchase it. Might as well go to Harbor Freight or buy the store brands at Lowe's or HD. Sad to see them go, I have a couple thousand worth of USA Cman in my garage. Lots of other good stuff that was rebranded such as their pry bars, snap ring pliers, etc. All USA.

Got my new M&H all-weather overcoat that was on backorder. It fits me like dog poop and they don't have the size I need. Any good alternatives out there?

I'm wearing my TH stuff until the cut off date. Maybe exchange for the wool?

Thanks for thinking of others.

I think most people will wear the TH stuff even past the due date. M&H sucks.

Maybe so but I still have uniform items that I’m willing to mail to people that want them, just asking to be reimbursed for the shipping cost.
