I am trying to gather information on how many hours it takes to be competitive when applying to American airlines. I recently started flying regional 121 and building time and I am trying to plan for my next step. Any insight would be great. Thanks

civilian hours 5000+ to be competitive (LCA, etc)

military heavy, half that

military fighter, 1500+
