LAX Flying on the Bus
#2
Easy to get. The flying used to be pretty good, but it’s been a few years since I was based there and I hear that it’s not as good now. Transcons are great, Hawaii on reserve or when you get senior with a line. Embrace the red eyes though, because you will do them. I’ve been PHL, CLT, DFW and LAX based. I found LAX CA’s to be the most laid back and enjoyable to fly with YMMV.

Lots of front side red eyes when you can hold a line. Took me about a year to get day trips. The captains have been great. Fun to fly with. Plenty of good layovers on the red eyes (LGA/JFK, BOS, DCA, etc). Not many class drops for LAX these days so your progression may be a bit slow until that changes.
