We all have to choose what course in life is best for us. Its not really fair to call someone's choice dumb. There is so many variables that we cannot predict or control. Many variables are individual specific, such as commuting or not, the city we live in etc etc. None of us will know if we have chosen the best course until after we have retired.

Personally I for sure would've left Envoy for Spirit in 2014. AA had just come out of bankruptcy. Spirit has an extremely good management team. AA was being led by Parkem' (enough said). Spirit's costs are half of ours. They are growing hand over fist and will continue to do so.

Cool story bro. I'm calling a spade a spade. Giving up a seat at AA for Allegiant or any other bottom of the barrel LCC is a really dumb move. Huge loss in total career earnings and no guarantees working for said carrier. Allegiant, Spirit, Frontier, any of them plus others could be bankrupt or out of business at the next downturn. Enjoy that furlough while the Envoy pilot is now comfortable in an AA seat.

Cr700 works in envoy management. We have to listen to his propaganda all the time on the envoy forum

Unless of course you blocked him years ago. Honestly I’d forgot about him. Just wish 1) he’d stay in his cubicle; 2) he’d stay in the ENY Forum; and 3) people quoting him didn’t show his posts.
