Is that contractual? Does it apply to all yearly step raises?

Second year pay (and every subsequent year) starts on the anniversary of your projected sim training completion date you get as part of your aircraft drop at Indoc. So most folks are on first year pay for 13-15 months. Yes, this is contractual and something that will probably be fixed in the next contract.

As APC’s resident Delta kool-aid chugger, I’m sure you’ll follow up with something about how much better Delta is...

This was pretty bizarre to learn in New hire. Either way glad to be here.

I started May 14th should be doing ioe before the end of July. I had a substantial break between indoc and ground though.

From INDOC to OE completion was roughly 5 months for me, but winter weather and flight cancellations extended my OE about a month longer than it should have been. I had almost a month off between INDOC and 190 training. First 3 days of 190 training is CBT. 4 day trips in the 190 aren't worth very much flight time if everything goes as scheduled.

When do the 80 displacements start going to training? I'm assuming that's going clog the training pipeline and cause some delays if they don't slow down enough on hiring.

Probably.

The June classes already were bigger with new hires than what was planned so expect plans to be modified.

During OE, how easy/hard would it be to plan a few days off for military reserve duty? Not dropping mil leave, but just getting the schedules to work around each other.
