Commuting out of CLT.
 

Bidding bus to eventually get CLT. Which bus base would be easiest commute while waiting to hold CLT. (Currently live in CLT and have never commuted/new to that game). Thank you in advance for the input.

I live in Clt. Commute to lga has been pretty good to me. Loads of flights and even when say lga has no seats to work you still have other airports to choose from. When I was relatively new, getting to ewr was the hardest thing (especially for the 4am sign ins). Seniority builds quick there though and after about a year you should be able to hold a line with no trips out of ewr. Between ewr, lga and jfk there’s a flight practically every hour.

Disclaimer: I’m on the 737 but would think bus is no different.

I commuted to CLT 4-5 years ago from NYC/PHL area airports. Very easy with being able to reserve the Jumpseat.

Bid philly or Miami so you can do out of base makeup in Clt. Both are always full but jumpseats are usually available. Lga May be quickest to a line, but it has many downsides.
