Anyone get the video interview since OBAP in LA?

I was told that 700 turbine PIC was where you got your “first look”, but 1700 turbine PIC was where you might be competitive. :eek:

I was told something different. The guy k talked to seemed like just a normal line pilot.

I received the invite 8/1, anyone else?

I got the invite on the 12th. Not sure if it was related to OBAP, I assume so. Video completed on the 13th, RFI on the 14th. Crickets since. Anyone in the same boat? From my sleuthing it is taking anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks to get the F2F email. Has anyone heard of someone NOT getting the F2F invite after getting the RFI? I shouldn't be worrying but I am.

I got the video invite on the 10th, got the RFI email 3 days later and have heard nothing since then. Has anyone who completed the additional email in the last 2 weeks gotten the F2F email?

I have a similar timeline. It took 14 days. Additional info 8/5, F2F invite 8/19.

I received the video invite on 8/1 and the FTF on 8/19.

Curious if the AA folks even took your resumes for those that attended OBAP?

My understanding is they don't take resumes, as interviewing and hiring is done strictly by whose names the WHOPR spits out when the magic formula is met.

They did not, most airlines had you input your information when your were standing in line or they had a kiosk with an iPad style device.

Did AA do that? Or just some of the others?

From what i recall FedEx did, SWA had a QR code, and i believe AA had an iPad as well

What would everyone recommend for app/resume review and interview prep? I know some companies specialize in some airlines more than others?

On pilot credentials, under employment>job description, it only allows 50 characters, seems very low compared to airline apps. How do I summarize my position in 50 characters?
