Once this rumor needs to be squashed means their just negotiating terms

So here’s what I find hilarious.

People foaming at the mouth for Parker to be fired. Actually thinking that the BOD will bring someone on who cares about employees and will change the culture of the company. Unreal the stupidity

I loved how Kirby immediately came up...and don’t forget Isom too. Both of whom are just employee loving guys.......ha.

Careful what you wish folks. You just might get it.

The rot at this company is about 4 layers deep. Fire the top 4 people in every single department and we may have hope of being a great airline once again. Most of the management only see AA as the piggy bank.

That is always the risk, but damn Douggie isn't the answer. Would be nice to see CEOs that actually cared to IMPROVE a company they actually run instead of just cashing in and leaving.

Richard Anderson could probably be lured away from Amtrack. He sure turned Delta around!

Wouldn’t that be amazing. Wouldn’t a bad thing, nor would seeing Glenn Hauenstein. Given his experience at Continental and Delta, would be a great improvement.

I hope AA does get themselves figured out. Lots of potential and history of being the “Businessman’s Airline”. Hope they can get back to it.

That being said, don’t think y’all are that far off. UAL seems to have gotten it figured out, AA reminds me a lot of UAL before Oscar/Kirby. Definitely time for a change.

Most would tolerate a ruthless (with employees) CEO if he/she were killing it with the financials, but Parker sometimes seems to come up short in both venues.
