Share Your Typical AA Schedule

I don’t know much about the other two but a friend who worked at Spirit said they could drop to 50% without any problem. Scheduling-wise, they have some decent provisions that is better than AA. I still wouldn’t go there based on the whole package, but AA could definitely see an improvement.
Oh, and the Atrium is embarrassing, and I’m not really that demanding when it comes to hotels.

You must have missed the memo. No longer the largest carrier. Delta has more pilots and more revenue. United is closing the gap pretty fast as well.

So I guess i’m fortunate to be at the Candlewood for the next 4 weeks? Never stayed at either. Was originally supposed to go to clt last month, but the bought my slot and stuck me down there. Sucks cause I was going to drive. Oh well, little happier I got the “better?” hotel.

I stayed there for initial a few years back, I enjoyed it for its convenience to things. I was there over Christmas, the Frau and the offspring had our Christmas in the room with a little Christmas tree. My two little girls were so excited to spend Christmas in a hotel. They still talk about it. To some it’s not the best, but I tell you what, that memory alone will always make me smile.

Speaking of training hotels...I was trained by US Airways. Our training hotels were places like Hyatt House, Crowne Plaza, Courtyard, and a few other nice, mainstream hotels.
Then I start going to GSW and the Candlewood is the “nice” option!

Yup, CLT Hyatt House was basically a small apartment with a full kitchen and nice big counter space to lay out all of your materials. All long courses should be in a suite type hotel. Atrium is garbage, and on Sundays they have a freaking Choir in there...no joke.

Agreed. Long course should be housed in a Homewood Suites(for the free beer crowd), Hyatt House or Residence Inn. Seriously, if we and our families are taking a hit for a month we should be put up in more than a standard fare room.

AA hotels are definitely way better IMO. Or were. Domestically we are skidding backward it seems. Internationally they aren't bad.

If you stay over a week you are in the new section of the Atrium with a kitchenette. However the Candlewood is a better location except for the gym. And yeah I agree the suites are nicer.
