There is a lake out here, a few parks for kids, dog parks, multiple churches and plenty of food options. Housing and taxes are still within reason. Most can find a 2500 sq/ft <5 year old home for the high 200ís. Schools are rated in the 7-9ís range also. Good luck!
Plus one for Rockwall. Iíve had a boat at Chandlers for the last 15 years and love the area.

I live in Arlington and I hate Arlington so much. It might be around 30 to 35 minutes driving to DFW based on my house. There is absolutely NOTHING for my wife to work in any business in Arlington. She drives to Dallas downtown every day. I don't recommend Arlington at all.

I will give a third Endorsement for North Richland Hills, nice area, good parks, lots of stores around and not too crowded.

Not a DFW guy but when Iím spending more than a few days at GSW I like to rent a car and go run the trails along the lake there. If I decide to fly out of DFW that would definitely be an area I would consider.

What is GSW? A city in the DFW metro area? Not familiar with that acronym.
