I live in Arlington and I hate Arlington so much. It might be around 30 to 35 minutes driving to DFW based on my house. There is absolutely NOTHING for my wife to work in any business in Arlington. She drives to Dallas downtown every day. I don't recommend Arlington at all.

I will give a third Endorsement for North Richland Hills, nice area, good parks, lots of stores around and not too crowded.

Not a DFW guy but when I’m spending more than a few days at GSW I like to rent a car and go run the trails along the lake there. If I decide to fly out of DFW that would definitely be an area I would consider.
