We all have our own optimizers/sodomizers.

Don’t worry... 80 doesn’t work here. He couldn’t get hired coming from a regional as questionable as his was.

It's just not worth trying to do with one crew. The passenger anger/ expense factor is just too high on an extensive snow delay then cancel.
DH down and flying back is more desirable by most in CLT bc the over block almost always happens coming back and if you dh that leg you don’t get paid the overfly, another brilliant caveat to our contract that should be fixed.

In other words, APA just rolls right over again, and again.

The PHL crews are fishing for the big snow/ deice line on the way down in winter. There is always frost on the originators that needs treatment. The DH guys miss that one.
We all have our angles

I think that normally gets built into the block time though doesn't it?

I guess my real point was to mention the lack of being paid for the over block on DH, which a lot of people still don’t realize and is complete horse $#it. If I am sitting on a plane per the company’s scheduling I should get paid if I sit there longer than expected, imho.
