“The agreements also provide “an industry-best profit-sharing formula,” the unions said. That formula, far higher the 5% American currently offers, could set a model for what other work group will get: It provides 10% of American’s first $2.5 billion of pre-tax income as well as 20% of pre-tax-income above $2.5 billion.”

Check that off the list.

10% of 2.5 billion, and 20% of a remaining 1.5 billion (if American were to make $4B in a year) would equate to $35k+ per pilot, counting on 15K pilots. Am I off on the math?

Any chance the pilot group gets something similar?

If I'm not mistaken, that math generates the amount that gets put INTO the profit sharing pool, which would be shared among all eligible employees... I'm expecting the same equation in management's offers to other employee groups.
