I cant imagine we would slow hiring or furlough flight attendants with a load factor like these.
The loads that I’ve looked at have taken an alarming plunge. Not sure which ones you’re looking at.

My 50% number came from total pax in hubs compared to normal days, not individual flights or stations.

Your number jives with the loads I've taken a look at across the system. Alarming to say the least.

Respect.

He lays it out and tells the truth.

(I wish more execs were of the same ilk.)

Treat employees well and with respect and they will go to the ends of the Earth for you..... Go our route, and well......

As alarming as that was, at least they have a plan. I'm doubting we do here at AA.

I'm sure we have a plan.

A plan for ensuring execs get bankruptcy proof pensions.

Bankruptcy in 3 months or less -even if this thing burns out.

I think it's inevitable with our debt.

The fixed operating costs at AA on a month to month basis have to be insane. With a 50% drop in domestic revenue I can’t imagine that’s sustainable for a super long period of time.

AA and DA have thus far been relatively quiet. I’m sure that will change as events unfold this week.

Honestly, I can't see any US airline avoiding bankruptcy at this point. Even the mighty SWA.

The global nastiness of this crisis is too severe. Too deep.

This has all the makings of a real economic SHTF event to put 9-11 to shame.

Maybe, just maybe.... This thing dies out within a month or two. If not, we probably all need to consider plan B.

This whole thing will be over in under 2 weeks. We will all be back to normal and will have forgotten that this virus was even a thing.

No.

it won't.

This is far beyond a "thing" already.
