AA guys, including myself, clearly understand that we could be in for a world of hurt. However right now the company appears to be doing the right things by letting over 800 pilots retire early. We currently have over 5000 pilot on leave. They’re planning to keep offering those as well. So no one is incapable of understanding the seriousness of our situation, some are just trying to stay positive. Btw Boeing CEO needs to worry about getting his own house in order before ever point a finger at anyone.

Unless he got hired at a 121 at 22 or below then he should be retired. If he got hired at 20 he would only have two years left. Still what is THE job that I want. Is it like THE Ohio State?
