I think we fall in that wheelhouse. It was posted it was gonna cost 850 a displacement in training off a DAL 777 so I am guessing the early outs are cheaper. We are looking at 1300 right now plus the 800 early out outs as right around the low end of their number.

DL numbers are about 50% of their list.
I suggest AA pilots prepare for that AT BEST
Your company is in debt up to it's eyeballs. It will be the first to file at least Chapter 11 if not 7
The DL memo states they are burning through 50M$ a DAY with mostly old airplanes that are paid for.
How long do you think AA can last with all those new aircraft payments?
I suggest you prepare for a fire sale of bases and your regionals.
If you believe you will survive this unscathed you obviously do not know airline history.
It repeats itself constantly.
Listen to those letters and even the Boeing CEO
Get your financial house in order. Think about how many of you are going to end up in a smaller type in the right seat.
For those that end up on the street. Pilots on the street have very little transferable skills. After this bloodbath, there will be So many pilots on the street most of you will wish you went into a different line of work or had some other skill. It will be years for many to be able to return and many will never return or be called back. This is going to make 911 or 2008 look like a cakewalk.

Get your financial house in order. Because pilots on the street have very little transferable skills. I have my opinions and leanings in regards to this emotionally charged topic called "COVID" but the above contributes nothing. This issue impacts the entire industry, in some shape or fashion.

The more people who don’t work here at AA keep coming out of the woodwork to try and throw fear grenades at us, the better I feel. It’s clear that we are in a better position to get through this than Delta and United..and that just burns some people over there. Go attack Southwest too. They’ll come out of this similar to AA, with relatively minimal damage.
