When you are the last to know

Hertz files for bankruptcy. A vision of AA future. If you believe AA will have a different outcome the Kool Aid machine is now in the crew room.
You have several big guns aimed at you that you will not be able to avoid. Forces you do not even realize will deal you the death blow.
1) ALPA: will work against you and solidify DL UAL if you are gone.
2) The US Government will want to consolidate aircraft purchases to Boeing. AA has too much exposure to AirBus. Don't believe the CARES Act will save you. That $ was just to keep the employees off unemployment until October 1
3) The banks will pull the rug out because you have no leverage or financial strength like SWA
SWA, DL and even UAL will be the survivors.
The only reason you have not seen furlough notices and downgrades like DL and UAL is that your company isn't going to wast it's time and money when they already know the doors are closing. Have to save that money for the bankruptcy lawyers.
TSA numbers are still way too low to pay for all those new aircraft sitting on the ground. And when you look at those TSA numbers for each day know that about 90k of the daily count are actually airline employees going and coming through security each day.
To not prepare for the worst and hope for the best is time and opportunity wasted.
Good Luck

Oh hey your back. So once again you use a blog as supporting evidence which once again makes me question how people got through college. This is the equivalent of citing and OPED only with less standards.
It’s cute that you think DALPA and UALPA have the coordination to take down AA. They are currently dealing with their own house fires at the moment.
More then likely the US government just funnels money directly to Boeing as their defense side is what the government really cares about.
Also if you think the way AA and Hertz are even similar other then being in the travel industry you are worse at this then I thought. Hertz was the victim of vulture private equity.
Look I am sorry AA turned you down or kicked your puppy or whatever it is that makes cat this way but let it go.

Hertz is bankrupt so....AA .......is........bankrupt?!! Got it. You’re a genius. Hertz was taken private in 2005 by the PE crowd. Loaded up on debt then went public again. Do some research on when this happens how many end up in bankruptcy. One company looks nothing like the other.

Yeah, but with your statement you just hurt his feelings. Now he needs a safe room to overcome his hurt feelings (sniff, sob, cry). Don't be so insensitive!
