Ted Reed has a lot of experience covering USAir thru American. I remember his interviews with CEO Steve Wolf and that was 1996-98. He's been covering airlines since 1989 so 31 years experience. Doesn't mean you have to agree with what he writes thou. Remember, no one is an expert on a major pandemic's effect on the economy unless they're old enough to remember 1918

Railroads had the largest passenger numbers two years after that (the Spanish flu).
