None. They managed to secure protections against furloughs until 5/2021.

I have not one singular dog in this fight. Don’t kill the messenger; just answering your question.

They gave work rule concessions, so that's going to mitigate a few furloughs. The only airline to give concessions as far as I know. I think they are rolling the dice on the recovery. Since their debt is now more than their $2.9B market value, JB is not an attractive purchase investment for American. Which is why just code sharing with them makes more sense.

No furloughs possible until May 1st. Try not to take out your anger at B6-just stay in your lane and pray hard.

What concessions did they give?

He doesn’t even work at AA. He’s been calling JetBlue’s demise for years, which still might happen in a Covid environment. To talk about JetBlue’s financials with the shape that United Airlines is in is amusing.

Reduced min guarantee from 75 to 70 hrs for reserves, 90 hrs to 80 hrs for instructors. They get more days off to compensate. Allowed ALV to be reduced below 74, though min guarantee for lineholders is unchanged at 70. All this is only through April 2021, and snaps back earlier if flying returns to 80% of normal or better before then. And permitted the code share with AA, though the airline isn't growing, therefore typically prohibiting a new code share. In return, there will be no furloughs through that period and there are other smaller items that we got. It's mostly trading scheduling flexibility for no furloughs while we're all dealing with covid.

B6 CBA scope prevents entering into a new codeshare unless in a 12 month look back we are hiring and increasing block hours. So there was relief on that to allow for this codeshare. Also, lineholder guarantee was kept in tact at 70, but reserve guarantee dropped from 75 to 70, but with 2 additional days off (so 15/16 off for short call, or 14/15 long call). ALVs were previously limited to no less than 74, but they dropped ALV to a max of 70 and a min of 0. But any pickup of open time, even with a 10 hour line, goes above 70 min guarantee.

yeah....huge concessions over at B6

Lowering the ALV for line holders is a win in my book. APA was looking into it during contract negotiations but now all the “experts” on here are against it. Laughable.

Lowering ALV but keeping guarantee in place, and making all open time pickups above guarantee, even if you only have a say 30 hour line, is a huge win. There are some things I wish were done differently, but overall I think it’s a win.

Just to clarify, the JB union held the LOA until the press release about the codeshare, as required by NDA. The codeshare was material information for JB (and AA) shareholders, so it was under NDA. It was not "hid" until AA pilot WARN letters went out.
