Default AA to Scrap A321 with wing strike damage

https://simpleflying.com/american-ai..._recirculation

April 2019 incident. That was really a close call.

The A321 was my favorite Airliner to fly, just because I thought it looked good. Performance could suck thou. It's been over 20 years and I can still remember how when trying to come down in a hurry you had to slow to 235, retract the speedbrakes, then extend slats, then put the brakes back out. On transcons by the time you could reach FL390 you were almost at TOD.

People, US Weekly, or anything else found in the aft galley are arguably lower.

Just wait until the OAL guys come and read this. They’ll proclaim “AMR” (lol) is going out of business!!!

Sad thing that airplane is worth more scrapped, than operating revenue flights.

Why isn’t there even a preliminary NTSB report for this yet? It was over a year ago.

It’s a “T” model as well; I bet they hate to lose those?

I’m surprised this hasn’t become a slideshow for recurrent. Seems like it could be a good teachable moment.
