The culture at AA is disgusting. It shows to customers. Just sad really. I think you will find that the ual agreement did what it was designed for and prevented pilots and there families eating thru the use of food stamps. I wish the apa would have worked for their dues instead of being an embarrassment as I know a lot of the pilots on furlough. The excuse of “i been furloughed your turn” “more dues” is not valid. Times are changing and a culture overall is needed at aa badly. I am hoping aa gets a new ceo shortly. It is needed badly over there.

Completely wrong.

787 pilots are all making as much or more. Anybody in top 3rd can make same by simply picking up. And yes, there is stuff to pick up. NOBODY had their pay rate cut. Working less days. Many in middle 3rd should be able to pick up as well.

Spin this however you want but this was a major concession with unrealistic snapback criteria to only guarantee 9 months.
Using Percentage of 2019 traffic, raising gaurentee in increments starting around 40% that fully snap back to normal at 70% of pre COVID pax levels are unrealistic?

It makes ZERO sense for APA to take any concessions. The other airlines are trying to prevent furloughs so they can gain market share quickly while AA languishes. If the tables were turned AA would be doing the same.

You're the one purposely conflating the terms "pay rate" and "pay cut". Spare us the pearl clutching about spin as you whirl like a top.

Allowing pilots to maintain currency without a min guarantee is the most awful thing that has been done to this industry in the age of covid. You don't care about concessions, you care about concessions that affect you. The least you can do is be honest about that.

You don't work here so I guess I'll give you a pass.

But please explain how ZTLs and the FTO are not concessions

Much like stripping pilots of their length of service to give to AWA/LAA. Flying my last years to maximize my pay. KARMA. The last real unity was when USAPA was formed at LUS. Those principles went out the door with the seniority integration we went through a few years ago. I’m just stating the obvious. You were warned. Sorry, not sorry.

Enjoy the ride.

P.S. Not a union member so I don’t have to pay the .5%.
